Marisa & Jeremy at Woodbury Jewish Center

Marisa & Jeremy     March 3, 2018

Marisa & Jeremy met at Syracuse University but did not start dating until after they both graduated and Marisa was worn down by Jeremy’s persistence.  After a few years of dating, Jeremy proposed to Marisa atop one of Yosemite National Park’s mountains complete with a private chef dinner and photo shoot to capture the special moment.  Jeremy then surprised Marisa further by having their friends and family surprise Marisa to celebrate their engagement back home after their trip.

Marisa describes their wedding as the best day of their lives.  Despite the Nor’easter that threatened the area the day before, they were calm, cool and collected on their big day.  They truly soaked up every second of their wedding from the early morning of getting ready until their very last song during their wild Syracuse themed after party.

“We did not stress any small detail and we made our main focus on having fun and enjoying ourselves.  We had an unbelievable team to work with the day of our wedding and we couldn’t have done it without them!”  Marisa & Jeremy

Congratulations to this amazing couple!

Audrey & Steven     March 3, 2018

The couple met at Emory University during Steven’s senior year and discovered quickly they are a classic case of “opposites attract”.  Audrey’s Southern California laid back attitude clashed perfectly with Steven’s New York City aggressiveness.  Luckily their mutual love of food bonded them together as they explored Atlanta’s rapidly emerging food scene during their first year as a couple.  After Steven’s graduation and a year later Audrey’s, the couple moved to NY and have been together even since.  For their 7 year anniversary, during a celebratory vacation to Hawaii, Steven surprised Audrey with a helicopter tour of the entire island followed by a private, romantic dinner on the beach and proposed to her at the water’s edge under the stars.

Audrey and Steven describe their wedding, simply put, as “amazing”.  The Yale Club proved to be as timeless as they envisioned for their black tie affair with its ornate ballrooms and lounges.  Despite the elegant columns in their ceremony space and the grandeur of the ballroom, they were still able to make their reception space feel romantic and homey with low centerpieces and elegant candlelight.

“There were various times throughout the night that Steven and I would pause, look around and smile ear to ear together as we observed all of our favorite people laughing and having a great time, in honor of us.  It felt truly surreal!”  Audrey & Steven

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Nicole & Eric at Crescent Beach Club

Nicole & Eric      April 21, 2018

One night while waiting for their friends to arrive at a restaurant, Nicole and Eric struck up a conversation and just clicked.  The beginning of their relationship was not easy though since it started off as a long distance one.  For their first two years together Eric was primarily in the Middle East working as an engineer aboard navy ships.

After dating for about three years, Eric planned on proposing at a New York Ranger’s hockey game.  Even though that was the plan, Eric’s nerves about bringing the ring there got the best of him. He decided it would be better to wait until after the game.  Eric made the moment even more special by first waking up Nicole’s two daughters and asking their permission to marry their mother.  When they both said yes, he then officially asked Nicole to be his wife.

Nicole describes their wedding day as amazing and everything they had hoped for.  The best part for them is that they were able to fully enjoy themselves for the entirety of their wedding reception.

“We had the best time and enjoyed being with each other and everyone who came and celebrated with us.” - Nicole

Congratulations to the happy couple!
