Our story
Glenmar Studio is a family-run photography and videography studio with a rich history dating back to 1936, when we first opened our doors in the Bronx, New York. In the 1980s, we moved to Roslyn, where we continue to serve generations of families and couples throughout Long Island.
For nearly a century, we’ve had the privilege of documenting weddings, celebrations, and life’s most meaningful milestones. While the industry has evolved—from film to digital photography and now to videography and content creation—we’ve continued to embrace new technology and creative approaches without ever losing sight of what matters most: timeless imagery, exceptional quality, and a personal touch.
Our Roslyn studio is a charming, cottage-style space designed to feel warm and welcoming. Our cozy front room is the perfect place for a cup of coffee and to sit down with our team, explore albums and videos, and talk through your celebration. We take the time to understand what you envision and how you want your memories to be captured, so that every detail feels uniquely yours.
Our team is made up of some of Long Island’s most talented and experienced photographers and videographers. Each member follows our signature “Glenmar Standard” of quality, consistency, and professionalism, while bringing their own creative flair and perspective to every wedding and event. This allows you to feel confident in the quality of your images and films while choosing the creative style that best reflects you.

Contact us to schedule a visit to our cozy studio, or, if your schedule is tight, we’re happy to connect by video call. During our meeting, we’ll take the time to learn about your celebration, discuss your photography and videography needs, and help you explore the options available to you. At the studio, you can view samples of our work on our TV screens and browse through our collection of albums to get a feel for our photography, as well as the variety of album styles and finishes we offer.

Book
When you’re ready to book, we’ll provide you with a contract and invoice to officially secure your date. Payments are made in installments leading up to the month before your wedding, celebration, or shoot. At that time, we’ll schedule a final details review to go over your event timeline, locations, key people, and any other important details. This allows us to make sure everything is organized and confirmed in advance, so you can enjoy a smooth, seamless experience on the day of your event.

experience
Our experienced photographers and videographers are dedicated to providing a professional, personable, and enjoyable experience. You’ll receive your high-resolution images in an online gallery for easy viewing and downloading, while your finished videos will be delivered as link and/or flash drive.
We’ll work with you to create a custom album design of your favorite photos. You can choose from a variety of sizes, orientations, and premium materials, including linen, leather, and faux leather, to create a keepsake you’ll enjoy for years.
